Prata Wala is a quick-service, halal certified Indian restaurant which provides delicious, value-for-money Indian cuisine in a modern setting.The menu offers Indian favourites from North and South Indian cuisine. Today, Prata Wala has established itself in Singapore with 4 mall-located outlets at Jurong Point, Tampines Mall, Northpoint, and Chinatown Point.

In 2018, Prata Wala clinched the Epicurean Star Awards – Best Asian Restaurant (Chain Restaurant) by Restaurant Association of Singapore. Its Jurong Point outlet was awarded the Customer Service Excellence Award by Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore).

First Gourmet Pte Ltd is part of FG Culinary Group which is engaged in restaurants and franchising, food processing, distribution and catering. First Gourmet, with five F&B brands, was set up with the aim of developing innovative and exciting F&B concepts for both the Singapore and international markets.


    First Gourmet’s multi-award winning North Indian restaurant brand Zaffron Kitchen marries cosmopolitan modern settings with the best of north Indian cuisine. The restaurant has garnered numerous awards; it was listed in the Michelin Guide Singapore for three consecutive years (2016-2018) and T Dining Tatler Singapore – Best Restaurants 2018/2019. It received World Gourmet Summit 2015 Awards of Excellence – Restaurant of the Year.

    Pavilion Banana Leaf is a halal certified casual dining restaurant specializing in South Indian cuisine. It is a collaboration between First Gourmet Pte Ltd and Indian Celebrity Chef Dr.Chef Damodharan, better known as Dr. Chef Damu. With the expertise of Indian restaurant operations of First Gourmet, together with Dr. Chef Damu’s specialty in Chettinad fare, the two worked together to design the menu and recipes for the restaurant. It also serves popular North Indian dishes from our award-winning sister brand, Zaffron Kitchen.

    Wimi Thai Ice Cream serves a variety of Thai desserts and drinks. The ice cream recipe was gained from Bangkok ice cream vendors, to ensure the authenticity of the taste. Wimi’s signature ice cream is served in a coconut husk together with a variety of toppings to choose from. It is available for catering and live stations for parties and events.

    Friends Bak Kut Teh (老朋友肉骨茶) showcases two signature renditions of Bak Kut Teh – Herbal and Teochew style (peppery). The soup is slow-brewed with pork bones for two hours to extract the innate flavours of each ingredient – rendering a rich and flavoursome broth. The restaurant serves Zi Char favourites such as Thai-style Steamed Sea Bass, Prawn Paste Chicken and Salted Egg Prawn.
